He has over 25 years of experience at different capacities in the engineering, planning, and deployment of automation, integration, network and system solutions. Soloman Almadi holds a PhD in simulation and computing from Brunel University, UK and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, USA. and B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas, USA. He is an inventor with several patents, has published several IEEE and SPE technical papers in networking, system automations, substation, computing, simulations, and Intelligent Field, and active member of ISA.

Mr. Kinsley is currently working in Saudi Aramco central engineering offices and is responsible for design and specification of various automation systems; such as: DCS, ESD, SCADA, RTU and CCS.

Nujood Almulla is a mechanical engineering who graduated from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom with a BEng Honours degree. She is specialized in energy systems modelling where her previous experience includes working on engine combustion research and performing transport life cycle assessments under the Fuel Technology, Research & Development Center as well as developing an emission and energy consumption monitoring system for transport large transportation fleets under the Energy Systems Division in Saudi Aramco. Nujood was also part of the Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB), course representative and engineering ambassador.

Syed Nisar is a qualified Instrumentation Engineer who started his career as a Control Valve Engineer before moving to a valve manufacturing company where he worked till he joined Saudi Aramco in December, 2011. He has a bachelor of engineering in Instrumentation and a Graduate diploma in Robotics & Automation from Australia. In Saudi Aramco, Syed Nisar was the Chairman of the Instrumentation Standards Committee for a period of 5 years, and during this time he was instrumental in optimizing the engineering requirements, whilst promoting new technologies and was eventually awarded the 2016 CEO Excellence Award.

Douglas Raven has over 25 years’ experience in the development and implementation of Multivariable Control technologies to the process industries. Before joining Saudi Aramco in 2014, he worked for a variety of APC and engineering companies including Setpoint, Inc., Dynamic Matrix Control Corporation, Aspen Technology, APC Consulting, Inc., KBR and Wood Group Mustang. Mr. Raven was the principal application developer for the DMCC/AspenTech’s Composite technology used for plant-wide control and optimization. He is the author of many academic and industrial papers and presentations and a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. Mr. Raven has a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from California Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Faisal Talal Al-Askandrani was born in Khobar, Saudi Arabia in 1984. In 2002, he Graduated from Dahran Ahlia School and received a full scholarship from Saudi Aramco to pursue his undergrad education. In 2008, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of New Branswick, Canada. Al-Askandrani received a Bachelor of Computer science majoring in Information System and a Minor in Business Administration. During his undergraduate degree he was hired by the university as a Java Tutor.

Upon graduation, Al-Askandrani started working in Saudi Aramco, Dhahran for one year in the Oil Company’s Central Database for Real-Time Data under the Reservoir Description & Simulation Department. In 2010, Al-Askandrani was deployed to the field for two years in Khurais Producing Department as Process Control Network Engineer, and Real-Time Data specialist. By the end of his deployment, Al-Askandrani was able to acquire the Cisco Certified Network Associate and Certified Wireless Network Administrator. After his deployment, he was positioned in the Companies Headquarters in the Process Control Service department in which he reviewed network, security standards, and project compliance in those fields.

Due to his outstanding efforts in the Shamoon malware Cyber-attack that targeted the company’s operations. Al-Askandrani was awarded a Full scholarship to pursue his master. In December 2015 Al-Askandrani gradated first of his class with a degree in Cyber forensic at Purdue University. His main research focus is in the areas of security and networking, risks, mitigations, strategic infrastructure development, policy making in relation to the Supervisory Control, And Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA) with the world wide convergence of networks trend. Al-Askandrani was Nominated to be the first Saudi Vice President and President to the Cyber Forensic Club at Purdue University.

Al-Askandrani co-authored a two studies, the first was “Intelligent Field Converged IP Network for Semi-Real Hydrocarbon Process Automation Applications (HPAA) Case Study,” that was presented in December 18-22, 2010 at the IEEE International Energy Conference, Manama, Bahrain. the second research was a technical paper Titled “INVISIBLE ATTACKS” in November 2013. His Master Theses was titeld “A Threat Intelligence Framework For Access Control Security In The Oil Industry” in Dec 2015.

Currently, he is a leading member of the Information Technology and Operation Technology (IT/OT) Transformation team and advanced analytics SME. Graduated with BSc in Systems Engineering from King Fahd University and MSc in Systems and Entrepreneurial Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was the first member to earn INFORMS Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) in the MENA regain in 2014. Rayan trained more than 500 professionals on the foundations of decision analysis at Aramco’s Processional Engineering Development program.

Majid Al-Gwaiz has been working in Saudi Aramco since 2001. He holds a Bachelors degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, A Masters degree in Operations Research from Cornell University, and a PhD. in Operations Research from The University of Michigan. Majid also teaches a graduate Probabilities course at KFUPM on a part time basis. Since joining Saudi Aramco, Majid has worked in the Mechanical Services Shops Department, the Consulting Services Department, Ras Tanura Refinery, and the Process and Control Systems Department. Majid is currently leading Saudi Aramco’s IT/OT program which addresses the fourth industrial revolution and Saudi Aramco’s digital transformation. Majid is the Author of several research papers, a book chapter, and three patents.

Hassan Al Yousef holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Manchester University and Masters of Engineering degree in Cyber Security from Concordia University. He holds a number of certificates in wireless, networking and cyber security domains. He currently works for P&CSD in the Plant Networks Unit.
